【摘要】桃竹苗北客因土地貧乏之情況下，而選擇南遷至高屏六堆地區參與日政府之開發，形成一波島內再移民，楊庚盛為北客南遷的人潮之一。人搬遷至異地，在生活習慣及文化等成為需要適應的過程，以文化而言，客家八音亦是如此，經由「人」的傳播，文化的衝擊與適應，使得南、北客家八音得以交流接觸， 楊庚盛則扮演中間媒介之角色，在音樂文化適應的過程當中，將北部客家八音之特色帶入南部六堆地區外，也適應並學習南部六堆客家八音之特色，保留北部特色之餘，也融入南部特色，並且傳授於後輩，將本為一家的客家八音，卻因傳入台灣後，在地理環境及時間區隔下而同中求異，一分為二，再度異中求同。...

【外文摘要】Taiwan Hakka Ba Yin music is one of traditional music, but also one of the Hakka Public Culture, ordinary people, their functions attached to the Hakka ethnic group rituals and customs of life which plays an important role. However, with Hakka ethnic groups, Hakka Ba Yin music was introduced into Taiwan from the original town, with different geography and time of baptism, under the style of appearance of Hakka Ba Yin music in Taiwan, North and South off of their village development, have their own characteristics.
