【外文摘要】This dissertation presents an overall investigation and a study of the language life and the phonetic variation of Litoutang village, Beihai City, Guangxi Autonomous Region, a Hakka dialect enclave which is surrounded by Yue dialect. By means of various sociolinguistics methods, such as questionnaire survey, interview, covert observation, etc, a detailed investigation of the language environment, the language use, the language acquisition, the language ability, the code-selection and the language attitude of the residents of Litoutang village was carried out . The qualitative discussion and the quantitative statistics analysis of the data from the investigation were made. In addition, the phonetic system of Hakka dialect of Litoutang village was described in details. On this basis, the phonetic variation was investigated entirely. By making comparisons between the source dialect (the Hakka dialect in Jiaoling county) and the surrounding dialects (the Yue-dialects in Qinlian areas), the track of the diachronical change of the phonetic system was tried to find and the various variations of the phonetic system and their concrete representations under the permeation of the surrounding dialects were exhibited. Furthermore, by the way of combining the results of the investigation of language life, the causes and the ways of the phonetic variations were revealed and the predictions of its evolutionary tendency were achieved....
