台湾地区肺癌之种族死亡率与发生率分析

【摘要】。其中；「山地鄉」再依照當地原住民之族群分為6個社區。分別計算（1）「標準化死亡比」。（2）「標準化發生比」。（3）「調整年齡死亡率比」。並且估計95信賴區間以研究是否有顯著意義。
結果
(1)標準化死亡比：「閩南社區」不分男性或者女性都比較高。.「客家」、「客家混合社區」不論男女都比較低。「.東部混合社區」以及「山地鄉」的男性也比較低。
(2)標準化發生比：「閩南社區」不分男性或者女性都呈現比較高。「客家」、「客家混合」、「東部混合」4個社區；不論男女都比較低。「山地鄉」男性也是比較低。
(3)調整年齡死亡率比及長期趨勢：6個觀察社區的所有居民不分男女肺癌的長期死亡趨勢都呈現上升。40歲以上的居民也是如此。
研究限制與討論： 本研究還是有下列的盲點:（1）戶籍登記的錯誤。（2）癌症診斷以及登記品質的問題。（3）族群認定的問題。上述問題都足以影響本研究之正確性。
結論 山地鄉社區肺癌之死亡率以及發生率皆為有意義之比較低。然而；其長期趨勢呈現增加。其他社區；例如閩南、客家、客家混合、東部社區以及全台灣社區之調整年齡死亡率比及長期趨勢接呈現增加之趨勢。如何預防並且正確診斷有效治療將是未來努力之方向。...

【外文摘要】Introduction:Since 1997;Lung cancer is the most popular cancer of female and the second popular cancer of male in Taiwan.Moreover;there is ethnic difference between different races. .The purpose of this study is toevaluate the motarlity and incidence rate of lung cancer and other related diseases. Materials and Methods: According to the death data of the Health Brecuracy and the geologic data of the department of the Internal Affairs to evaluate : (1)The Standard mortality rate(SMR) from 1991 to 1997,(2) the Standard incidence rate(SIR) from 1987 to 1994 ,(3)the Age-adjusted mortality rate ratio and its long-term tendency from 1971 to 1997. The observed societies are classified as: Taiwan, Holo, Haka ,Haka mix, East mix ,Mountain areas. Besides; the mountain society is then divided into 6 subgroups according to 6 native races. Stastical methods:Use SAS 3.0® software for DOS. Excel 7.0 ®for windows. SPSS 8.01 ®for Chinese editorion to calculate the data of the mentiomed;then calculate 95CI%of these datas;then determine the significant level. Results: (1)SMR:Male :the societies such as Holo has higher level..Haka,Haka mix,East mix,Mountain have lower level.Female:Holo race has higher level.Haka,Haka mix have lower level.(The disease referred is lung cancer). (2)SIR:Both sexes of the societies have higher level:Holo,Haka,Haka mix,East mix racial socities.Besides,in which Holo race has lower level in contrast to the other races mentiomed;the male part of mountain area has lower level(the disease referred is lung cancer)..Besides;the male in haka mix society has a lower level.. (3)Age adjusted mortality rate ratio and long-term tendency of lung cancer:No matter what sex;all observed societies have significant increase,in the subgroup of older than 40 years,they also show significant increasing tendency. Disscusion and restriction of this study: The handicaps are such as : (1)the diffucilities of geological data collecting;(2)the mistakes of cancer registation,(3)the problem of racial identification. Conclusion:The mortality and incidence rates of lung cancer in mountain society are lower,but it''s long-term tendency as well as Holo,Haka,Haka mix,East,Taiwan are increasing.Finding the more accurate diagnostic and more effective therapy.
