苗栗县国中智障学生家长对其子女接受性教育的看法及亲职性教育

【摘要】性犯罪」六個向度的需求,並探討家長不同背景變項下,其對性教育看法及親職性教育需求的現況。
本研究以苗栗縣國中智能障礙學生之家長為研究對象,採取普查的方式,以自編的「苗栗縣國中學生家長性教育問卷」進行資料蒐集。所得資料以次數分配、百分比等統計方法進行處理。
本研究的主要結果顯示:
一、苗栗縣國中智能障礙學生家長對子女接受性教育的看法是屬於中立的。各向度的同意程度由高至低,依序是「父母的責任」、「實施性教育的阻礙」、「一般性教育」、「實施性教育的擔憂」。
二、在個人背景變項中,母親在「父母的責任」、「實施性教育的擔憂」及「實施性教育的阻礙」三個向度中,同意百分比皆比父親高。閩南及其他族群的家長在「父母的責任」、「一般性教育」及「實施性教育的阻礙」三個向度的同意百分比最高。教育程度為專科以上的家長的在「父母的責任」及「實施性教育的阻礙」二個向度的同意百分比最高。子女障礙程度為重度以上的家長在「父母的責任」、「實施性教育的擔憂」以及「實施性教育的阻礙」三個向度的同意百分比最高。子女性別為女性的家長的同意百分比皆高於子女性別為男性的家長。
三、苗栗縣國中智能障礙學生家長對親職性教育的需求程度很高。各向度的需求程度由高至低,依序是「自我保護」、「性教育的概念」、「性行為與性犯罪」、「生殖生理知識」、「性心理發展」、「兩性關係」。
四、在個人背景變項中,母親的同意百分比皆比父親高。客家族群的家長在「生殖生理知識」、「性心理發展」、「性教育概念」、「兩性關係」及「性行為與性犯罪」五個向度的同意百分比最高。教育程度為專科以上的家長在「生殖生理知識」、「兩性關係」、「自我保護」及「性行為與性犯罪」四個向度的同意百分比最高。子女障礙程度為中度的家長在「生殖生理知識」、「性教育概念」、「自我保護」以及「性行為與性犯罪」四個向度的同意百分比最高。子女性別為男性的家長的同意百分比皆高於子女性別為女性的家長。
根據研究發現與結論,研究者提出若干建議,供教育行政機關、學校行政單位、特教班的教師及未來研究之參考。...
【外文摘要】The purpose of this study was to investigate views about sex education and needs of parental sex education among parents of junior high school students with intellectual disabilities in MiaoLi County. This study explored not only views about sex education from the dimensions of parents’ duty, general sex education, anxiety about administering sex education, block in administering sex education, but also needs of parental sex education from the dimensions of reproductive physiology knowledge, psychological development toward sex, sex education concept, gender relationship, self protection, sex act and sex crime; and the views about sex education and needs of parental sex education under different variables regarding personal backgrounds.
The research subjects were parents of junior high school students with intellectual disabilities in MiaoLi County. They were asked to complete a ten dimensional questionnaire created and edited by the researcher to collect the data. The collected data were processed through such statistical methods as frequency distribution and percentage.
The major findings of this research were as follows:
1. The views about sex education among parents of junior high school students with intellectual disabilities in MiaoLi County were neutral. Of the four dimensions used in the questionnaire, the ranking of these attitudes toward sex education from high to low were: parents’ duty, block in administering sex education, general sex education, and anxiety about administering sex education.
2. Among the variables of personal background, the agreement percentage of mother in the dimensions of parents’ duty, anxiety about administering sex education, block in administering sex education was higher than father. The agreement percentage of the Minnan and other ethnic groups in the dimensions of parents’ duty, general sex education, block in administering sex education was higher than Hakka ethnic groups. The agreement percentage of higher education in the dimensions of parents’ duty, block in administering sex education was the highest. The agreement percentage of children with serious or profound handicap in the dimensions of parents’ duty, anxiety about administering sex education, block in administering sex education was the highest. The agreement percentage of children’s gender female was the highest.
3. The level of the needs of parental sex education among parents of students junior high school with intellectual disabilities in Miaoli County was very high. Of the six dimensions used in the questionnaire, the ranking of these needs of parental sex education from high to low were: self protection, sex education concept, sex act and sex crime, reproductive physiology knowledge, psychological development toward sex, and gender relationship.
4. Among the variables of personal background, the agreement percentage of mother was higher than father. The agreement percentage of the Hakka ethnic groups in the dimensions of reproductive physiology knowledge, psychological development toward sex, sex education concept, gender relationship, sex act and sex crime was higher than Minnan and other ethnic groups. The agreement percentage of higher education in the dimensions of reproductive physiology knowledge, gender relationship, self protection, sex act and sex crime was the highest. The agreement percentage of children with moderate handicap in the dimensions of reproductive physiology knowledge, sex education concept, self protection, sex act and sex crime was the highest. The agreement percentage of children’s gender male was the highest.
Finally, based on the findings and conclusions, the researcher made some suggestions for education administrators, school administrators, teachers of special education classroom and future researchers....
