【摘要】 通过对土话语音、词汇、语法系统的描写与归纳，我们发现石蛤塘土话仍然具有粤北土话连州片的显著特征，但由于受到强势方言的影响与渗透，也出现了向强势方言靠拢的趋势，这一趋势在词汇上表现得尤其突出。另外，我们还利用社会语言学的方法粗略考察了石蛤塘村的语言生活，通过对村民的语言态度和语言交际的调查与分析，指出石蛤塘土话使用的人口越来越少，已经出现了濒危迹象的事实。...

【外文摘要】Shigetang is a natural village in Xinhe District, Sanjiang Town, Liannan County, Guangdong Province, which is surrounded by Hakka villages，and not far away from the Yao villages. For the outside-village communication, people in Shigetang often use Hakka dialect or Cantonese dialect; while Shigetang dialect for inner communication. Thus the village gradually becomes a so-called dialect island where so many dialects co-exist with each other. Studies on Shigetang dialect are of great significance for deeply understanding of the characteristics and language life of aboriginal Chinese dialects spoken in Northern Guangdong (Yuebei Tuhua). By the description and analysis of its pronunciations, lexis and grammars, we find that Shigetang dialect still has many significant features which are similar to aboriginal dialects of Lianzhou Area. However, due to the strong influence and infiltration of dominant dialects, it has borrowed some elements from the dominant dialects, especially in the area of words. Besides, we also have a research of the language life in this village, including its verbal communication and language psychology. And it is found that Shigetang Dialect has revealed a declining trend, the language endangerment, which is caused by the decrease of daily use of villagers.  ...
