【摘要】發現,三位客語能力佳幼兒之家長對客語保存的態度及行動如下:一、家長對客語保存的態度方面家長具有強烈的客家及客語保存意識,從小培養客家認同並以身為客家人為榮。為了讓客語薪傳,家長堅持在家中說客語,並提供多元豐富的學習資源,把握語言發展關鍵期。家長們認為學校的母語教學流於一種菁英及競賽式教學,因此特別著重在家庭的客語使用。最後為了讓客語的學習能更融於現在的時代背景及孩子的生活經驗,家長認為可再加入現代流行語,讓孩子在日常生活更能加以應用。二、家長對客語保存的行動方面三位家長皆談到堅持跟孩子說客語,而且不要被拉走,在日常生活中多製造機會,讓孩子有機會應用客語。除了大量地「說」之外,在客家意識的建立上,從小灌輸他「你是客家人」的觀念。為了不讓孩子因為上學接觸國語後養成說國語的習慣,回到家中家長會時常叮嚀及糾正孩子要說客家話。為了讓孩子對學習客語產生興趣,家長們會用有趣的互動來提高孩子的興趣。另外,家長們也善用社區現有的客家資源,從小就帶孩子接觸客家,與客家結緣,客家的觀念會在孩子心中生根、發芽。文末,研究提出以下幾點建議:一、對家長方面的建議(一)建立客家意識,以身為客家人為榮(二)達成共識並堅持到底(三)積極堅定柔性勸說二、對學校方面的建議(一)勿流於競賽及菁英式教學(二)增加客語生活的使用情境三、對社區方面的建議(一)善用社區資源(二)營造客語社區—語言巢的設立四、對未來研究的建議(一)擴大研究對象...

【外文摘要】The purpose of this study is to explore the attitudes and behaviors of parents whose children have fluent Hakka language proficiency. The main research questions were: What attitudes do parents demonstrate towards preserving Hakka language?; 2) what actions do parents take to enhance children s Hakka language proficiency? The main research method of this study was semi-structured interview; Researcher interviewed three parents whose children have fluent Hakka language proficiency. The results showed the following attitudes and behaviors among the three parents in relation to Hakka language preservation:1.Parents attitudes towards Hakka language preservationThese parents had a strong awareness of Hakka language. These parents have helped their children develop their Hakka identity since very young age. Plus, these parents insist on speaking the Hakka language at home. Parents think that there is a critical period of learning Hakka language; therefore, teaching children Hakka language from early age is important. Besides, the parents regarded the heritage language classes offered in school as a type of elite education and competitive learning; thus, they believe that family is the main power of preserving Hakka language. Lastly, parents ..believe that teaching modern phrases and slangs is important.because modern Hakka phrases can enhace the integration of Hakka language with children s modern life and allow children to apply Hakka language to their daily lives.2.Parents behaviors towards Hakka language preservationAll of the three parents mentioned their insistence on talking to their children in Hakka language without any compromises. These parents attempt to produce abundant opportunities in children s daily lives for using Hakka language. In addition to spending plenty of time speaking Hakka language to children, parents emphasis on building children s awareness of Hakka origin and identity. To prevent their children from developing the habit of speaking Mandarin Chinese after entering schools, the parents frequently remind their children to speak Hakka language once children speak Mandarin with them. Moreover, the parents try to interact with children interestingly to raise children s interest in learning Hakka language. Finally, the parents utilize existing Hakka resources in the communities, thereby enabling the children to be exposed to Hakka, build a connection with Hakka, and develop Hakka identity. .Several suggestions are proposed at the end of this paper, which include:1.Suggestions for parents(1)Creating an awareness of Hakka origin and being proud of Hakka identity.(2)Reaching a mutual agreement and implementing speaking Hakka language relentlessly.(3)Holding a proactive and determined attitude and giving advice in a gentle manner.2.Suggestions for schools(1)Avoid competitive teaching and elite education(2)Creating scenarios where the Hakka language can be used3.Suggestions for communities(1)Creating variety community resources(2)Building a Hakka-speaking community a language nest4.Suggestions for future researches(1)Including more research participants...
