【摘要】证、全面的认识。因介绍研究的视角不同，韩素音相应呈现出三种不同的形象：客家文化名人、爱国人士及跨文化之桥。通过深入探讨这三种误读产生的原因、方式及结果，我们认识到：第一，韩素音强烈的文化认同感的内在动因是身份认同的焦虑，根本原因是文化归属的危机。认同的双重性是她对所遭受的文化上的双重疏离的心理应对。自传的写作是摆脱焦虑的努力。第二，韩素音对中华民族的热爱和对帝国主义的批判表明了她第三世界人民的立场，但在这种立场下，又潜藏着自己身处第一世界的优越感。这种双重立场的存在，既有她自身经历的原因，又在某种意义上是一种必然。第三，韩素音被视为跨文化的桥梁，但同时，她作为公民在生活中遭到双重拒斥，作为作家在文学史中遭到双重拒斥。...
【外文摘要】Han Suyin is a well-known 20th century British writer of Chinese descent. On the basis of an analysis of the three kind of images Han Suyin is usually associated with within China as well as an understanding of the process of how these images come into being, the thesis places Han Suyin inbetween Chinese and Western culture, as belonging to both the Chinese as well as the Western culture.
